I've just made a few changes to the Crossfader script. They was quite a lot of interest in it (see image) so I thought people might like to download the new link-enabled version.
DIVs that are faded out (opacity = 0) now have their visibility set to "hidden". This allows links in "lower" DIVs to be clicked. In the previous version the top-most DIV blocked all the underlying DIVs, even when transparent.
its great the script,
can you make a little extra by doing the same effect as in www.blogger.com
tthe new text fade in from underneath
that be the best!

Truly excellent work Timothy!
Is it possible for the script to check the real estate available to the text and auto-size container to fit?
Explanation: I have a slight dilemma - using the xfader in the head of web page for "referrals" but page has both fixed and fluid layout option (button toggles layout to accommodate different content real estate requirements). If script invoked while in fixed layout then toggle to fluid, container DIV doesn't dynamically resize; meaning fixed to fluid = too much white space; fluid to fixed = spillage beyond bounds :-(
I realise I'm asking a very leftfield query that's probably outside the Crossfader spec., I'm not a programmer so hope you view my request with a tolerant perspective...
