Google HQ

Metropolismag.com has an interesting article on Google's new headquarters. Looks like the world's largest kindergarten, which I suppose it is in a way. (Scroll down to the photos on the right of the article - whoa! turn down the saturation!)
If the Googleplex exploded, the employees would have a hard time digging themselves out of a shower of pirate flags, action figures, T-shirts with funny sayings, leis, ironic signs, a fringed leather vest, thousands of game pieces, and giant Lego people.

Howdy. I found your site because you linked to me. I'm the Sketchblog bloke. I think I may stick around for a spell.
For the record, I'd use the giant Lego as a shield in case of emergency (were I an employee of Google).

Hi Ray. I didn't know they said "bloke" in rural Illinois...
Great penwork, by the way.

Heh. I tend to bastardize colloquialisms from across the board. A bit of 60's hipster, a dash of farm talk, and a smidge of Europe's best. I talk with a lot of UK based designers online and it's become a force of habit! I just like how down to earth the word sounds. Very egalitarian.
Thanks for the compliment, by the way. I dig the site; surprised I hadn't come across it before. A lot of your topics are things I jaw on about.
