Google Adsense guidelines not strictly applied?

I was looking at the Google Adsense guidelines (ahem), and saw this:
Site may not include:
- Sales or promotion of certain weapons, such as firearms, ammunition, balisongs, butterfly knives, and brass knuckles
And I thought, in my ignorance, "what the hell's a balisong?". So I did a search on Google, and the first result I get is this one from the Knife Web Guide. Check out the Google Ads on the right. Which led me in turn to this guy, where I nearly got beaten to death by his fast-than-the-eye-can-see use of quotation marks... You about to enter a world of pain...
(Turns out balisong is just another word for a butterfly knife.)
